Welcome to Macclesfield Tutorial College
Macclesfield Tutorial College offers GCSE and GCE AS and Advanced Level courses in a wide range of subjects. Most places are for students sixteen plus and a few places are available to students younger than this. The college also offers full and part-time places to adults.
The first aim of the college is academic - to teach to a high standard and enable each student to strive towards his or her potential.
To provide a quiet learning environment within which all persons are treated with respect, in order that they improve their self-esteem and are motivated to regard learning as an important aspect of their lives.
To encourage all students to take a wider view of their future professional and career opportunities so that they are fully aware of what they might achieve and the qualifications and experience necessary.
To encourage all students to think of their futures in a global sphere by looking at career opportunities around the world.
